mantenimiento de plantas productivas llegan a superar el 20% de los
costos totales de la producción. De tal manera que cualquier instancia
de mejora, significará obtener reducciones en sus costos asociados,
haciendo más competitiva a la organización.<br>

Hoy en día, las estrategias del mantenimiento están encaminadas a
garantizar la disponibilidad y eficacia requerida de las unidades,
equipos e instalaciones, asegurando la duración de su vida útil y
paralelamente, minimizando los costos de mantenimiento, dentro del marco
de la seguridad y cuidado del ambiente. La gestión de costos y
presupuestos del mantenimiento está orientada a optimizar los recursos
financieros, logrando el equilibrio entre el cumplimiento de dos ratios
clave como son la disponibilidad y eficiencia de los equipos, con la
disminución de los costos de mantenimiento, que implica el aumento de la
rentabilidad de la empresa y por tanto tiene influencia directa sobre
